Your estimate will be prepared based on the following. You can also ask our friendly staff about options which may be available to you to get the job done without blowing your budget.
- Field and level of technicality of the source document
- Condition of the source document
- Volume of the source document
- Delivery format
- Preferred deadline
- Optional services
Price calculation guidelines
Japanese, Chinese, and Korean documents: Source document character count ÷ 400 × price per page
Single byte languages (English, etc): Source document word count ÷ 180 × price per page
*In order to standardize our pricing structure, we have established a per-page character count of 400 characters per page or 180 words (160 German words) per page however this can vary depending on the language pair. For more information, see the individual pricing for each language pair.
*The total number of pages is calculated by rounding the number up to the nearest full page.
【Example】Japanese document with 650 characters translated into English (per-page price of ¥8,800)
650 characters ÷ 400 characters = 1.625 pages → two pages (rounded up to the closest whole number)
Two pages × ¥8,800 = ¥17,600
Minimum Charge
Please note that there is a minimum charge for one-time orders. Please ask our friendly staff for more information.

- Prices do not include taxes.
- You may incur additional charges for intricate layouts and work other than translation including the preparation of tables and graphs etc.
